Water & Salt

When I started massage therapy school one of many things we learned was teaching our clients on the amount of water they should be drinking. This is the 1st time I learned that the amount of water one should be consuming is 1/2 the body weight in oz. So if a person weighs 200lb they should consume 100 oz of water per day. It was a bit strange to hear this since we have been told over the years that 8 glasses per day is the norm.
